Abstract

In the talk I will present a control theoretical framework that describes some quantum information processing, including deterministic pure Gaussian state preparation and decoherence-free manipulation of a state. Examples of particularly useful concepts of control theory are stability, controllability, observability, transfer function formalism, and feedback. It will be demonstrated that these concepts can be effectively used to treat the above-mentioned problems in quantum information.
