Manipulation and detection of coupled spin qubits

Abstract

In this talk I will discuss coherent control and its detection of multiple spin qubits. Exchange interaction is one of the main controlling knobs of the coupled spins, but is not enough to realize arbitrary two-spin states. Controlled realization of the gradient in the Zeeman field is essential for that purpose. We summarize recent research frontier in such approach and discuss several new directions including coherent coupling to photon fields and parity measurement.
