Abstract

Squeezed states of light are the fundamental and essential resource in the study of quantum optics and the realization of continuous variables quantum communication (CVQC). Although observation of pulsed squeezed light with large noise reduction is difficult compared with those using continuous wave in general, pulsed squeezed light offers various benefits to the application experiments in the time domain. In this talk, we will discuss the merits using pulsed squeezed light and show the recent experimental results of CVQC using pulsed squeezed light [1-3].
