Interdisciplinary Workshop on Quantum Device -through Mathematical Structure- aims at attracting the interests of international researchers in interdisciplinary quantum devices such as seen in quantum optics, laser physics, spintronics, superconducting circuits, and quantum dots, etc.

IWQD2013 is a satellite workshop to ICQIT2013(the 3rd International Conference on Quantum Information and Technology), which will be held on 16th to 18th of January at the National Institute of Informatics(NII) in Tokyo.

The topics include:

• the fundamentals in theory of the quantum devices
• the cutting-edge technologies in experiments on the quantum devices
• the mathematical aspects like the modeling of the quantum devices
